Welcome all again, as we discover serious prophecies in the word.
Isaiah 47:1-2 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.
2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. There are several key points in this scripture, and I will do my best to reveal what YHWH has shown me through study. All of the references for the meaning of each word I will be describing is found in the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible where you can verify the conclusions YHWH gave me. In Isaiah 47:1, "come down and sit" means to descend as an enemy, fall down be cast down and be subdued by an ambush. This scripture is saying that the great, modern-day Babylon will be brought down so low, that its enemies will be able to ambush her and subdue her.
"In the dust O virgin daughter of Babylon" means that this modern-day baby land (Babylon), will be ground to powder and sit in the rubbish and dust of its ashes, and Babylon will be separated no longer a bride but a concubine. "Sit on the ground: there is no throne" means YHWH's judgment will cause modern day Babylon to be made quiet and still as it endures the judgement and ambush from its enemies, and it becomes non-existent a non-entity as it comes to nothing with no throne, meaning no covering as its secrets are laid out in the open for all to see.
"O daughter of the Chaldeans" means that Babylon is a daughter of astrologers. An astrologer is a prognosticator, a predicter or soothsayer who study the positions and motions of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs. In Isaiah 47:13-14 reveals what YHWH will do about that. Isa 47:13-14, Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. This judgment will be very severe on people that believe, depend, trust and follow any other doctrine beside the laws of YHWH. They will all be destroyed, burned and left as stubble.
Isaiah 47:2 "take the millstone and grind meal" reveals that modern day people of Babylon will be employed with hard labor, grind is to force someone to work hard without stopping. The next passage "uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers." is saying that Babylon will be made nude, discovered, exiled, stripped and made completely naked in utter shame. "Pass over the rivers" is saying that with rage and wrath the people of modern-day Babylon will be taken away across seas.
Some people may ask why this judgement is so harsh, well this scripture will tell us why. Isaiah 47:6 I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke. The ancient original people of GOD YHWH were put under the control of these Chaldeans and not a drop of mercy was shown to the ancient people also no mercy was shown to the elderly. YHWH saw it all and is now judging you Babylon (America). Judgment is set. So now sit silent in darkness for GOD ALMIGHTY YHWH HAS SPOKEN. Isaiah 47:5 Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
Praise YHWH
